Instruction will start with the fundamentals, while providing the visual tools needed towards learning the difference of a child’s portrait to an adult.

Working through exercises for drawing proficiency, learn drawing techniques, and finding new ways of seeing.

In addition to tonal values, students will be guided into transitioning those value studies in graphite pencil into coloured pencil.

As well as positive feedback, instruction will include demonstrations, examples of all techniques and exercises, including guidance between classes via email correspondence.

This workshop is ideal, for the beginner who has some drawing experience, and those who are looking for a refresher.
