 This workshop is ideal for those of who are seeking to develop their drawing and painting skills, whether a semi beginner or revisiting artistic passions.

Every Session covers different techniques and subject matter, making this course ideal for returning students. This time we will be visiting Floral drawing and painting through a number of different lenses.

Oil or Acrylic Painters welcome.

There is a positive and interactive approach to the experience, where class feedback and discussion is encouraged.

Instruction will provide the visual tools needed to start the journey to good painting practices, through demonstrations, and exercises in colour theory. This also Includes guidance between classes via email correspondence.

The goal is to complete 1-2 projects each session.

1.     Understanding value verses colour.

2.     Using visual tools for proportion and perspective

3.     Exploring different Painting techniques

 Material needed:

1-2 Canvas board 9x12

Heavy body acrylic paint: Titanium White, Payne’s Grey, Cadmium Red, Ultra- Marine Blue, Cadmium yellow, Magenta, Hunters Green, Purple and any other colours you have.

Disposable paint palette or plate, 2 water containers, rags or paper towel.

Soft Synthetic brushes: flat and Filbert- ¼”, ½”, 1”, 1 ½”, 2”

Bristol Brushes: flat and filbert- - ¼”, ½”, 1”, 1 ½”, 2”
