This workshop is ideal for those of who are seeking to develop their drawing and painting skills, whether a complete beginner or revisiting artistic passions.

Every Session covers different techniques and subject matter, making this course ideal for returning students.

Oil or Acrylic Paintings are welcome.

There is a positive and interactive approach to the experience, where class feedback and discussion is encouraged.

Instruction will provide the visual tools needed to start the journey to good drawing and painting practices, through demonstrations, and exercises in colour theory. This also Includes guidance between classes via email correspondence.

The goal is to complete 1-2 projects each session.

 1.     Shading techniques to create form in greys and colours

2.     Using visual tools for proportion and perspective

3.     Understanding where colour fits into value of light

4.     Reproducing drawing into a painting

5.    Understanding Negative Space
