Want to learn to paint a successful composition in colour?

The success of compositional tools is learnable and easy to apply if you know how it works. Students will learn to paint the aspects of a successful composition with the use of the 3’s;  shape, value and colour. 

Students will work from photo references, based in a number of different seasonal light sources.

Oil or Acrylic are welcome.

There is a positive and interactive approach to the experience, where class feedback and discussion is encouraged.

Instruction will provide the visual tools needed to start the journey to good drawing and painting practices, through demonstrations, and exercises in colour theory. This also Includes guidance between classes via email correspondence.
